My yoga teaching is an invitation to explore your connection to the rhythms of nature: seasons, day and night, moon phases, ocean tides - and to align your life with these cycles through Movement, Breathwork, Meditation.
As you continue with your yoga practice your strength, balance and flexibility will naturally increase, while symptoms of stress, anxiety, negativity and other imbalances will naturally diminish, offering an opportunity for you to live a more vibrant, inspired and full life. This in psychology is known as living in a ‘flow state’, and in yoga as ‘upaya’: the art of knowing how to flow in the material world - a baseline of being deeply connected with yourself + the flow of life, knowing that, in spite of all the ups and downs, life has your back!
My yoga teaching style incorporates strong elements of Zen, Kundalini + Vinyasa Flow and sprinklings of Qigong, creating unique sequences where you can explore ways to release tension in body and mind, feel more grounded and more fluid - in your joints and in your attitude to life.
Typically the Classes have a focus on Breathwork, the Seasons/Moon Cycles, sometime through longer-held poses (zen), repetitive movements (kundalini) or through a fluid flow (vinyasa). You are always invited to switch your attention inward, paying attention to what feels good and authentic to you, not what the pose looks like or what it should look like - resulting in a truly unique yoga experience.
My approach to yoga is rooted in the ‘non-dualistic’ philosophy, meaning that all aspects of reality are integrated into a whole - such as light and dark, easy and intense - promoting true inclusivity and Oneness.
Although I take the teaching of yoga very seriously, I also have a very playful side and like to bring a sense of humour into the classes. So, if you like a little fun… you could be in the right place!

"A passionate teacher who cares about wellbeing and supports you on your yoga journey. She encourages you all the time and gives you different options of doing the same pose, to adapt to your body. She is a generous person who really loves her calling and is always bringing mindfulness and positive energies with her. I started yoga with Patrizia a little over a year ago, and I love the impact it has into my life."
"Patrizia supports all participants i her classes: people with disabilities, past injuries and older members like myself, to gain more movement in their joints to enable them in everyday life.
Throughout the class, Patrizia advises everyone to practice yoga to their own limitations and not to exerts themselves in case of injury.
Patrizia has a very caring, respectful personality, injected with a good sense of humour."
